Editing & Proofreading

As an early years educator with a specialty in Literacy Support, reading and writing is a passion of mine...but more specifically, helping others through my proofreading or editing services. I have had the 'red pen' in my hand since I was 7 years of age when I decided to become a teacher. I am a quick read and have a fast typing speed - tools that I want to put to good use for my clients. I specialize in adult fiction and erotica (18+, NSFW) as well as young adult fiction, but am always up for a challenge for someone who wants to trust me with their work. 

Pricing (Canadian $)

My proofreading / editing service is the final stage of the writing process. When the work sample is ready, you choose the level of service:

  1. Proofreading - I look it over for mechanical correctness, such as spelling and punctuation, or 
  2. Editing - I make editing suggestions for grammar, omitted words, repeated words, spacing and all typographical errors. My editing services also include suggestions for alternative vocabulary for the intended audience, notes on story continuity as well as changes for readability should it proceed to audio format.
